A case for a dress, or two for shorts!

Today was the start of something new for me.  I woke in the night with the thought of a mission, I hope I can succeed at.

  I have traveled by way of car, boat, train and air in my life time, however I have no desire to fly or sail anymore.  In order for my mission to be successful I must over come the flying at least.

I am a wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a gifted artist all by the grace of The Lord!   My found east gift is being a seamstress, and that is where my dream starts.  My church has just recently went to Haiti and on the day they left one of my sisters in Christ said to me, next year you will go with us!

Well, that through me for a loop! I just froze! Me get on a plane? Fly to another country! Nope not me! Well, I didn't sleep much that night! The Lord was working on me! Didn't take much to get my attention. That is when God laid this mission on my heart! Even if I can not over come the fear of flying, I can succeed in helping and making a difference for the next mission trip.

The mission is to get as many people to send me a new pillowcase, and then I can in turn make a dress out of it for needy girls. Just a standard pillow case, can be turned into a cute dress.  They can be white, printed, solid colored, plain or fancy  just a new case!

A case to a dress, that will be a start. Then I thought what can I do for boys...I need two cases and I can make shorts! So that is the start.  I will then start my search to find donations for the thread, ribbon and elastic that will be needed to finish these for the children.

So to start with with I know I must get the cases coming!
So will you help me? Can you spare the money for a case or maybe two?
